I am in the process of creating a new board in the forums to get this project organized and whipped into shape. Some of you (our staff) my not like the new rules I am putting in place, however if you have patience with the new rules (and me), then this project will get completed much faster.
Basically, you will have to complete something per week to keep your status as a team member. However, you will not be removed from the credits if you create something we use, so don't get angry yet.
Here is the part that will make you angry: Azukara has made me co-leader. I have permission from Azukara to make these decisions and changes to the way this game is organized. If you don't like it, take it up with Azukara. I hope there will not be any disagreements about this, because it is in the best interests of this project. Thank you.

What about me peoples? I'm not really able to do anything but mod and handle that sort of thing. I take it my position isn't in danger?

I want to ask something though, since you have to do something every week; tell me something to do every week. Cause if I have no clue what to do, I don't have a point of doing something. So basically my idea is that you, Azukara or EightBitDragon, could post a new topic every week, with a list of stuff which should be done that week, so everyone has a clue what to do.
EDIT: Also for the programmers the source and such should be available, I guess :V

I have not yet figured out how to work out the programmer's part in this. I believe I will have our programmers post modified functions, and directions on where to insert the functions. This way, we are not modifying the entire include file. I think that will help keep it organized because having to 'merge' two different versions of the source is annoying.

EDIT: aka the other 142 members (yeah, i counted) on the forum Members have nothing to do with this. Members can still make posts on the forums. The download section is hidden from members, and will only remain visible to team members who will accept these changes. This is not an unreasonable proposal. All you have to do is contribute something to this project (on a weekly basis) to keep your status as team member, and you get access to downloads.

what about us writers. do we need to release scripts per week or something? Something like that. This aspect needed further explanation, which I have provided in the story assignments topic, which will be un-hidden soon. Don't worry if you finish the story/script and you have nothing else to do; you'll remain a team member. I've provided a FAQ in the Team Recruitment topic which answers common questions like this.

I have now un-hid the board. I suggest existing team members read the Team Recruitment topic as it contains need to know information about this new system. Here is the link to the General Assignments topic. This contains links to the other topics for convenience. General Assignments

I am the most lurkiest member EVAR. I want something to do! Look, If I have to prove myself I will. "Project Dream" made by (Me) Can you do any sort of concept art? We need some basic artwork for what some of the stages could look like. Some example art that our writers can use as inspiration for the story. They don't have to be very detailed, we will leave the details to other concept artists, but we need some basic ideas completed to help our writers out.

Alright for someone like me. I would have to wait for the concept artwork to be done to get modeling some props and level terrains and such. Since thats what I'm here for.

I understand, that's why I've given Azukara the task of posting some ideas for our concept artists to use. For now, I'm giving our modelers simple tasks that don't really require any concept art. For example, Carrier is making some simple trees for me. Nothing extraordinary, just some low poly models which will help to fill in Splashing Springs. When more concept art gets done, I will start giving our team more specific tasks.

Alright then lets say then that I come up with my own designs for something could I get it runned by to see if I could throw it in there to be fitted in?
Also saw that if appointed tasks cannot be completed for some reason they will be handed to another team member. At least your not being hard on us for that at least.
Also for me for the like of doing textures would this have to be given a total run through like on Retro's Sonic 2 HD for there sprites to be "perfect". Sorry for the many questions even though you've just stated this. Because you said you'll explain more in due time.

Sorry for the many questions even though you've just stated this. Because you said you'll explain more in due time. If you make a concept, it is up to Azukara if we use it or not. The better the concept is (the more time you spend on it), the more likely it will be that we will use it. And, the textures do not have to be perfect. However, we need various terrains, and those terrains need to 'transition' from one to the other in a realistic way. When you make the textures, try your best to make some which blend from one to the other.

Really nice renders there. Good work on the stages.
Also, my interest for FragMotion is nearly gone. I'm going to use programs other than this, such as SoftImage. They're legal, too.
